If you are looking for quality and value, Seapot is your place. I love the revolving belt carrying small portion of side dishes. Meats are delicious and high quality. Service is fast and the ambiance is family friendly. We visited twice already and will definitely go again when craving for hot pot. I don't recommend doing both hot pot and BBQ at the same time as you will get too just cooking instead of enjoying your food.

I usually go to the Sunnyvale location so this was my first time at the Daly City location. Our party of 7 had made a reservation so we were seated fairly quickly after everyone in our party arrived. Parking is plenty and easy to find. I do recommend making a reservation on weekends since they do get crowded. Similar to their other locations, they have a sauce bar, except this one had condensed milk that you could put over your fruits which I really appreciated because the Sunnyvale location does not have that. Besides fruits, they have their own sauce bar, and side dishes to go with your hot pot/kbbq. Our group decided to do the AYCE hot pot and kbbq. The kbbq I could definitely live without. It's a lot harder to do kbbq especially if you are in a group more than 4 people as the table gets longer and there is only one grill. The people around the grill ended up being the ones in charge since it was inaccessible for the people that were sitting farther down. The grill also had to be changed multiple times so definitely keep that in mind. The conveyer belt is a fun idea, but I do think that your table must have a system since two people are in charge of getting food from the conveyer belt since it is only on one side. In this case, I do recommend going in smaller groups. Besides that, I do love their variety of hot pot broths and ingredients. Service is quick and efficient. It's always a fun and filling time to eat at Seapot and will definitely continue to go back!

We go to the Seapot in San Mateo all the time but we live in the city so I was really excited when they opened this location since it's a lot closer. We always get both the hot pot and bbq and it's so worth it. My favorite broth here is the healthy herb soup and my favorite hot pot protein is the lamb. We also love their sauce/appetizer bar. I NEED to have good sauce with my hot pot so I hate the places that charge per sauce when Seapot lets you mix and match a bunch of different ones for free! My toddlers favorite part of this place is their fruits, he can eat plates of just their fruits lol. Service here is also always top notch. We go Seapot so often that we've had some of the same servers. Recently, Chris was one of our servers we had at both this location and the San Mateo location and he's the best! Super friendly and attentive. Overall, everything is super fresh and tasty and we always have a great experience, highly recommend!

We sat there, and only one dish of prawns (2) came out in a span of 90 minutes during the week day lunch. No bueno. I was watching the moving belt and all I saw the same old thing. Greens: cabbage, Tay ho, broccoli. Seafood: octopus, clams, mussels, prawns. Pieces of fish. Taro root was not fresh. No vermicelli. Tofu. Lotus root. The highlight is the snack, condiment bar, dessert bar. The biggest thing I like is the seaweed and sliced ears. Egg roll didn't have much inside. The desserts too sweet. Fruits were outstanding. That watermelon was 10 out of 10. So sweet. The condiment selection of sauces was great. Choice of soup was ok.

I love this hot pot place! I've come here at least 5 times now, and it's always been great. When you come on a weekday for lunch, you can get seated immediately. And they don't seem to be strict about the time limit. They offer a variety of broths, meat options, and toppings via the conveyor belt. They also have a salad/sauce bar where you can make your sauce to have with your hot pot, get rice, side dishes (which I believe I meant to go with the barbecue, if you opt to do that), and desserts. It's pretty hard to get hot pot wrong -- it'll taste as good as you make it! But I nonetheless feel like this place is really great and worth checking out. The only thing is that the servers don't seem to check in often, so if you need to order more meat, you'll have to put in some effort to call them over. But this hasn't been a serious problem.

I had the pleasure of being served by Dom, and I have to say, they truly elevated my dining experience. Dom was not just a server but a fantastic host who went above and beyond to ensure my meal was enjoyable. Their attention to detail was impeccable - from recommending the perfect meat to accommodating any special requests, Dom was attentive and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great time. Their friendly demeanor and warm personality created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. What stood out the most was Dom's knowledge about the menu and their passion for the food they were serving. They were able to describe each meat with such enthusiasm that it made choosing what to order a delightful experience. Overall, Dom made my dining experience truly memorable. Their exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction were commendable. If you're looking for a server who not only serves food but creates a wonderful dining experience, Dom is the one to ask for!

Seapot is a great restaurant because it has the best of both worlds... Hot pot and KBBQ all under one spot. They have many different kinds of meats and a pretty nice salad/sauce bar. Service was great and always welcoming when I go. No reservations needed if under 5 people.. could be a long wait but it's worth it, great atmosphere overall!

I've been to this location a handful of times now, and it's honestly the best lunch deal for AYCE I've found. $23.99 for AYCE hot pot and an optional $5 if you want to add on kbbq, is really good value. The only difference between going at dinner is that there's a few more meat options, which if you plan on adding on the kbbq, I think it's worth it. However the kbbq is just ok, and not what I typically crave when coming here. This last visit, we did the kbbq for lunch, and I didn't find it to be worth it, as I much prefer the hot pot on its own. I've tried a bunch of their broths now and I'm torn between the spicy miso and kimchi soup as my top 2 favorites. Both have good flavor and the right amount of spice for me where it's not overbearing. For the meats, my favorites are the collar butt, beef brisket and beef toro. After a while though, they start to taste kinda the same but either way still tasty. The conveyor belt with the veggies, dumplings, is great because I like being able to pick n choose with my eyes versus on the menu. It's usually the meal I'll eat the most veggies in because it's tasty once cooked in the broth. The sauce bar is really expansive and you can get creative with things. This is where you can be experimental and try different combos but I usually go garlic, green onions, a sesame sauce and some chili oil. If you are in the area it's best utilize Yelp Waitlist because the wait times can get long. To avoid the crowds, try going right when they open for either the lunch or dinner service.
